At the ROFIN-SINAR Laser GmbH site in Hamburg, we develop and produce high-power CO lasers that set global benchmarks in industrial materials processing.

Your Responsibilities

Based in Hamburg, you will oversee the PWS product throughout its lifecycle, from planning to implementation at the factory and customer sites. Your responsibilities include:

  • Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Define, guide, and manage the entire product lifecycle, collaborating closely with relevant teams and stakeholders such as customers, sales, service, and application engineering.
  • Product Development & Pricing: Participate in defining specifications and pricing for new and existing PWS products and processes, including service strategies.
  • Forecasting & Target Achievement: Develop revenue and order forecasts in coordination with management and sales teams.
  • Partnerships & Customer Support: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with sales, application engineering, and service teams, providing close support to key customers.
  • Identifying Customer Needs: Gather requirements for new products and innovations, developing necessary processes and systems in cooperation with customers and specialists.
  • Marketing & Communication: Support marketing material creation, product documentation, and presentations; collaborate on market and competitive analysis.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other events.

Your Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as mechanical or plant engineering, or equivalent qualification.

  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years in product management, development, or marketing, preferably in a technology-driven company.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with complex capital goods, manufacturing, automation, welding, or laser technology.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to Travel: Open to domestic and international travel.
  • Personal Traits: Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, enthusiasm for technical innovations.
