Responsibilities

• Lead multiple quantum chemistry–focused projects, overseeing project management and ensuring the timely delivery of milestones to external stakeholders
• Design and implement quantum algorithms on simulators and quantum hardware
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to enable efficient hardware–software integration
• Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Support the preparation of grant applications and help shape the strategic direction of the company’s work in quantum chemistry
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in quantum algorithms and neutral atom quantum computing

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Theoretical Chemistry, or a closely related field
• 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience
• Deep understanding of quantum physics and quantum computing concepts
• Strong motivation and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Munich, or eligible to work in Germany/EU
• Professional fluency in English; German language skills are a plus
