Product Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

1. Innovative Product Development: Develop new sealing products from the concept phase to market launch, utilizing your creativity and technical expertise.
2. Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses to identify trends and customer needs, positioning our products optimally.
3. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing to define product specifications and requirements, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
4. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications to ensure smooth communication and implementation.
5. Quality Assurance: Perform tests and validations to ensure the quality and performance of our products.
6. Problem Solving and Improvement: Assist in solving technical problems and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products.
7. Technical Drawings and Models: Create technical drawings and models using SolidWorks and utilize FEM simulations to analyze and improve our products.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience: At least a qualification as a process technician for plastics and rubber technology or a technical draftsman. Ideally, a degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a comparable field.
2. Professional Experience: (Several years of) initial experience in product development, preferably in the field of seals (junior to senior level possible).
3. Language Skills: Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

1. Technical Knowledge: Solid knowledge in the use of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience in conducting tests and validations.
2. Additive Manufacturing: Knowledge in additive manufacturing of plastics and metals is desirable.
3. Material Knowledge: Experience with elastomers (materials science) is advantageous.
4. Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving competence, teamwork, and good communication skills.
