Toyota Boshoku Corporation Munich Branch is seeking a Product Engineer to drive mechanical design from concept to production. You will coordinate with internal design teams, suppliers, and manufacturing plants, and ensure designs meet validation and BOM requirements.

The role demands 3–5 years of automotive development experience, strong CATIA/FMEA/GD&T skills, and fluency in German and English to collaborate with international teams. Munich office offers modern facilities and work-life balance.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering.
• 3–5 years of automotive product development experience.
• Proficiency with CATIA, FMEA, GD&T, and tolerance management.
• Experience with BOMs, change management, validation processes.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and design components and systems from concept to serial production.
• Coordinate and manage internal/external design engineers and suppliers.
• Conduct design reviews, assembly trials, and product validation activities.
• Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, CAD data, and engineering documentation; manage engineering changes.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing plants, and cross-functional teams.
• Support testing, validation, and CAE activities.
• Ensure timely completion of development milestones and project deliverables.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and design components and systems from concept to serial production
• Coordinate and manage internal/external design engineers and suppliers
• Conduct design reviews, assembly trials, and product validation activities
• Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, CAD data, and engineering documentationManage engineering changes in accordance with established change management processes
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing plants, and cross-functional teams
• Support testing, validation, and CAE activities
• Ensure timely completion of development milestones and project deliverables
• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive product development
• Knowledge of CATIA, FMEA, GD&T, and Tolerance Management
• Experience with BOMs, engineering change management, and validation processes
• Familiarity with RFQ and automotive development processes
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
• Business fluent in German and English
