Job summary

Stott and May Inc. in Berlin is seeking a Product Engineer to shape the next wave of an AI-powered compliance platform. You will own features end-to-end, work closely with customers to understand real problems, and use data to guide decisions.

You’ll ship clean, well-tested code with production impact, collaborating with product and customers in a fast-paced startup environment. Fluency in German and English is required as you’ll interact with customers in both languages.

Imagine turning weeks of compliance paperwork into a single automated flow. That is exactly what our client is building. This Berlin based AI company is creating the operating system for product and material compliance for Germany's manufacturing. Supplier data, regulations, ERP exports and scanned PDFs all flow into one intelligent platform, moving companies from reactive bureaucracy to autonomous, machine readable compliance, ready for the Digital Product Passport era.

Now the team is looking for a Product Engineer to help shape what comes next.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own features end to end, from customer idea to production
• Work directly with customers to understand the real problem, not just the ticket
• Use data and user behaviour to drive product decisions
• Ship clean, well tested code at startup speed

WHAT YOU BRING

• Curiosity and the ability to get to grips quickly with AI, compliance logic and customer processes
• You ask "why" before "how" and understand users as well as code
• You enjoy collaborating with customers and product rather than working in isolation
• You are comfortable communicating in both German and English, as you will work with customers in both settings
• Early career or several years in, mindset matters more than years
