Deutsche Bank has bundled its payments acceptance and issuing capabilities under its Merchant Solutions division. The division’s products support retail and commercial clients in navigating challenges related to new and conventional payment methods. The Issuing business line, part of Merchant Solutions, drives Deutsche Bank's card-based payment business.

A key growth area is co-creating new products and solutions with corporate clients in B2B2C initiatives, marketing jointly designed products to customers of our corporate clients. The bank aims to develop a White Label Card Issuing offering aligned with key payment trends and tailored for our corporate partners.

As a Product Development Manager, you will be central to our growth initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop new card-based payment features and ideas.

Your key responsibilities

1. Manage the design, development, and launch of a White Label Card Issuing product
2. Design new product features in close collaboration with our B2B2C partners
3. Manage projects/workstreams (agile or waterfall), including scope, time, risk, and budget
4. Develop end-user communication and launch plans for new products/features
5. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success
6. Identify new business opportunities in the B2B2C space

Your skills and experiences

1. Degree with excellent grades and experience in card-based payments, preferably with direct card issuing
2. At least 3 years in financial services/banking, including client-facing roles
3. Experience managing complex projects or innovations with senior management
4. Strong business acumen with analytical and development skills
5. Motivated, with proven task execution ability
6. Fluent in German and English (C1 level)
