Do you want to make a delicious difference?
As a Product Development Specialist, with focus on Fats & Oils, you will develop new and innovative ChoViva products that meet consumer needs by performing physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
A Taste of What to Expect
  • Actively contribute to the execution of application projects, working closely with the business development and R&D team to address challenges, solve problems and develop new products
  • Closely collaborate with internal fats & oils team and supplier: responsible for carrying out tests on new raw materials with regard to their influence on flow properties, crystallisation and suitable applications
  • Optimise product formulations and processes for large scale manufacturing and improve product performance
  • Coordinate and conduct scale up trials in-house and at co-manufacturing sites
The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience
  • Passion for chocolate and confectionary products with a strong hands on mentality, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Master’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Processing, Food Engineering, Chemistry or related area with experience in industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, knowledge in fats and oils processing and formulation in applications with experience in production lines or pilot plant settings
  • Knowledge in fats & oils chemistry and physics, fat crystallisation, analysis and applications in foods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers
  • Availability and willingness to travel to customer and co-manufacturing sites as needed
  • Fluent in English, German language skills are beneficial
