Product Developer Tampons (m/f/d) Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations. With a global team of 7,500 employees, we develop, produce and distribute in about 100 countries through leading retailers and healthcare providers. Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels. To reinforce our R&D team we are looking for a Product Developer Tampons (m/f/d) (m/f/d) in Großpostwitz / Germany.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support qualification of novel products, materials and machine processes in cooperation with Production, Quality, Industrialization, Marketing and other group functions
• Lead product and packaging readiness work streams with cross functional alignment to assure timely delivery of new products with transparency in the organization
• Own the design control documentation for development projects according to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820
• Create and adapt master specifications for new product & raw material developments
• Support IP sustainable product development in partnership with Ontex legal counsels to avoid infringements or protect own intelligence and know-how
• Support and drive the group sustainability strategy in line with the vision and mission of the organization

Your profile / Qualifications

• Higher education degree (Master) in engineering or natural sciences
• A first experience in R&D, product development or project management is helpful. We might be able to adapt the role to some extent to fit your background.
• Knowledge of raw and package materials (nonwovens, fibers, ...), production processes, markets, medical devices, ... is a plus
• Able to organize, prioritize and structure the work dealing with multiple complex projects & procedures and not afraid of paperwork and public speaking
• Fluency in German and English
