Job summary

DöhlerGroup in Darmstadt invites applications for a Beverage Product Developer with 3–5 years in product development for beverages, especially malt/beer. You will create base formulations and advise on materials, while producing samples and supporting customer projects.

Collaborate across market segments, coordinate workshops, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to scale-up and pilot plant activities. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in product development for beverages, preferably malt/beer
• Degree in brewing/beverage technology, food technology, or comparable training (technician or brewmaster)
• Solid knowledge of brewing processes, malt production, and quality assurance is advantageous
• Specialist in the field with familiarity with ingredients and technologies
• Dynamic, results-oriented, positive and innovative personality
• Structured, detail-oriented, and strong teamwork with excellent communication
• Experience with SAP
• Proficiency in German and English

Responsibilities

• Develop base formulations and applications for beer, beer mix, and malt beverages

Job Description

• As part of your challenging role, you will develop base formulations and applications for beer, beer mix, andmalt beverages.
• In addition to selecting suitable raw materials, you will act as an expert advisor for internal and externalinquiries regarding existing products and new product concepts.
• You will independently produce samples of our products.
• As part of a strong team, you will support new and ongoing customer projects and independently coordinatecustomer workshops.
• You will work closely with colleagues (m/f/d) from the respective market segments and thus contribute to theimplementation of new trends.
• In your function, you will be responsible for considering food law and regulatory aspects.
• Thanks to your expertise, you will provide technical and operational support in scale-up processes and in ourpilot plant.

Qualifications

• You have at least 3–5 years of professional experience in product development, particularly in the production,development, and marketing of beverages, ideally in the malt/beer sector.
• You have successfully completed a degree in brewing and/or beverage technology, food technology, orcomparable training/education (e.g., technician or brewmaster (m/f/d)).
• Solid knowledge of the brewing process, malt production, and quality assurance is an advantage.
• As a specialist (m/f/d) in your field, you are highly familiar with the ingredients used as well as the relevanttechnologies.
• Your colleagues (m/f/d) value your dynamic and results-oriented approach to tackling challenges.
• You impress with your positive and innovative personality.
• Your structured and detail-oriented way of working is complemented by your strong teamwork and excellentcommunication skills.
• During your previous roles, you have gained experience with SAP.
• You are proficient in both German and English
