From initial concept through to a design ready for engineering and manufacturing, you will own the end-to-end design language. Key Responsibilities

• Define and Develop Product Design Language:
  • Establish the holistic design language and visual identity across our autonomous robot systems product line.
  • Create compelling concept designs, detailed sketches, and high-fidelity renderings for new products and iterations.
  • Champion human-centered design principles, focusing on usability and intuitive interaction for operators and technicians.
• Technical Integration & Feasibility:
  • Collaborate extensively with Mechanical and Hardware Engineering teams to ensure design concepts are technically feasible and optimized for manufacturing.
  • Strategically evaluate and balance trade-offs across form, function, cost, and technical constraints to inform robust design decisions.
  • Provide critical support for prototyping and rigorous testing processes to validate design choices prior to full engineering handoff.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing successfully shipped or near-shipped physical products.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino) and visualization tools (e.g., KeyShot, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Solid working knowledge of various manufacturing methods and material properties.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, effectively collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
