Reports to: Lead Product Designer
Get ready to play a key role in our Product Team. You will work closely with the Product team, the development team and other teams regularly. You will present the results of the findings and their mitigations to internal stakeholders.
Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile and web solutions.
Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and research findings.
Know and implement best practices and design principles to ensure that our product functions flawlessly across multiple devices.
Experience in designing solutions for a B2B/B2Gov-directed product without losing focus on the end-user
Experience in creating and maintaining a design system in Figma
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.
Analyze user feedback and activity and iterate to enhance the user experience.
Conduct user research and
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Support other designers and contribute to Wire's design guidelines and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of professional experience in product design, with a focus on tech products.
Fluency in English, German fluency is a big plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
Strong expertise in UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma).
Proficiency in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
Solid understanding of the role of product design as part of the product team and the different aspects of it, such as Planning and conducting user research, rapid prototyping, defining MVPs, working in an iterative design process, designing external communications, and others
Understanding of accessibility requirements for a multiplatform application and how to apply them
Excellent visual as well as structural and conceptual skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Certification in relevant design or development fields is a plus.
