Your Responsibilities
- Creating user-centered designs that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of Cardmarket's website and native apps, keeping them intuitive and enjoyable to use
- Creating wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups / prototypes, and storyboards to visualize layouts and Cardmarket’s functionality
- Collaborating closely with the Product Team, Frontend’s Principal Engineer, and stakeholders to ensure the designs are aligned with the product, business, and technical requirements
- Documenting and maintaining design systems and style guides that are in line with the brand identity guidelines
- Communicating design concepts and principles behind the design choices to team members and stakeholders
- Helping the Product Manager to perform research and analysis activities that inform design decisions, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and analytics tools to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Mapping out Cardmarket’s user journeys for different user personas (private, business, enterprise, as well as internal users)
- Analyzing competitors of our marketplace and identifying possible competitive edges
Your Profile
- Minimum three years of professional experience as a Product Designer and/or UI/UX Designer
- Deep understanding of Design Fundamentals, User-Centered Design (UCD), Information Architecture, and Responsive / Adaptive Design
- High proficiency with Design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision
- Proficient with Prototyping and Analytics tools
- Illustration skills with the ability to work with an existing style and/or create a new one
- Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Creativity, flexibility, quick thinking, and the capability of working in an agile team
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, paired with a problem-solving attitude
- Fluent in English – verbal and written
- Affinity for trading cards and games is a plus
- Presence in Berlin is required
- Portfolio needs to be provided
