Kappa optronics develops and manufactures innovative cameras for major international customers in the fields of aviation, defense and vision solutions with a focus on automotive applications. We are looking for you to fill the position of Product Compliance Manager on a part-time or full-time basis at 30 to 40 hours per week.
Your Responsibilities:
- Actively shaping and further developing the compliance system, including developing and implementing compliance tools and compliance management functions
- Collaborating on and further developing sustainability structures (ESG)
- Maintaining an overview of the overall regulatory picture and monitoring trends and developments in legal compliance requirements in this area
- Creating and maintaining compliance-relevant data collection, including managing the resulting reporting obligations and customer
- Advising and supporting management and various departments on compliance issues
- Training and supporting employees in relation to compliance
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, law, economics, STEM or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on RoHS/REACh/Conflict Minerals
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and standards
- Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
