Job Requirements

• Study the Transactional Compliance Plan for each project and document applicable Regulations and Standards.
• Prepare Compliance documents for specific projects, including impacted items from the TRS Matrix.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure parts/assemblies meet project compliance requirements.
• Collect and upload project documents/certificates to the central repository.
• Work with the Design team regularly and initiate improvement actions.
• Implement best practices from other business units.
• Schedule meetings with other teams to ensure compliance is met.

Work Experience

• BE/ME in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience in product compliance with various regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of international certifications like IEC, IECEx, and country-specific certifications such as CSA, UL, TUV, Intertek, CE marking.
• Basic understanding of EU directives for CE marking.
• Basic design knowledge of power equipment like steam turbines, generators, and accessories.
• Knowledge of Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD), and PED is advantageous.
• Understanding energy efficiency requirements and related labeling and standards worldwide.
• Ability to interpret engineering documents and drawings.
• Familiarity with product safety, hazardous locations, energy efficiency, REACH, RoHS, and WEEE directives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.
