Job Requirements
- Study the Transactional Compliance Plan for each project and document applicable Regulations and Standards.
- Prepare compliance documents for specific projects, including impacted items from the TRS Matrix.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure parts and assemblies meet project compliance requirements.
- Gather and compile necessary documents and certificates, and upload them to the central repository.
- Work regularly with the Design team and initiate improvement actions.
- Incorporate best practices from other business areas.
- Coordinate meetings with other teams to ensure compliance is met.
Work Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3-7 years of experience in product compliance related to regulatory or certification agencies.
- Knowledge of international certifications such as IEC, IECEx, and country-specific certifications like CSA, UL, TUV, Intertek, CE marking.
- Basic understanding of EU directives for CE marking.
- Basic design knowledge of power equipment such as steam turbines, generators, and accessories.
- Additional knowledge of Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD), and PED (Pressure Equipment Directives) is advantageous.
- Understanding of energy efficiency standards and labeling requirements worldwide.
- Basic skills in interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with product safety, hazardous locations, energy efficiency, and material directives like REACH, RoHS, WEEE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
