Job summary

LIQID Investments GmbH is seeking a Product Builder Intern – Growth (f/m/d) to take growth initiatives from idea to live feature, at the intersection of technology, AI, and business in a fast-growing fintech.

You will work on building AI-native features, optimizing SEO, maintaining our Sanity CMS and Next.js site, and collaborating with product, marketing, design, and engineering. Berlin hybrid internship with German and English fluency required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• You have built and shipped something real—a website, app, tool, or automation—and can share a link with your application.
• You read, write, and review code with confidence—ideally JavaScript/TypeScript and React, work with Git, and use AI coding tools.
• You think in funnels, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes, and want to know why users convert.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and launch AI-native features and landing pages on liqid.de from concept to go-live.
• Improve LIQID's search visibility and AI citation through structured data and site performance.
• Maintain and develop the Sanity CMS and Next.js website (schemas, components, templates).
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering to drive initiatives forward.

Your Role

As a Product Builder Intern – Growth (f/m/d), you'll take growth initiatives from first idea to live feature—working at the intersection of technology, AI, and business, and making a measurable impact in a fast-growing fintech.

We have built a state‑of‑the‑art setup between a headless CMS (Sanity) and a Next.js website that lets product and business builders ship features fast. For you, that means rapid experimentation: form a hypothesis, build it with Cursor and Claude, put it live, and measure what it moves.

The internship will be available at the earliest possible starting date, and will take place at our Berlin office.

• Build & Ship: Design, build, and launch AI‑native features, conversion journeys, and landing pages on liqid.de—writing production code with Cursor and Claude, from concept to go‑live.
• SEO & AEO: Improve how LIQID is found in search engines and cited by AI assistants—through structured data, content architecture, page performance, and our knowledge hub.
• Platform & CMS: Maintain and further develop our Sanity CMS and Next.js website—schemas, components, and templates—so that product and business teams can ship on their own.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to drive initiatives forward, and share what you learn so the whole team gets faster.

What you bring

• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, preferably with a focus on software, product, or design.
• Builder Track Record: You have built and shipped something real—a website, app, tool, or automation—and can show it. Share a link with your application.
• Technical Skills: You read, write, and review code with confidence—ideally JavaScript/TypeScript and React—work with Git, and use AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude every day.
• Growth & Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. You think in funnels, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes, and want to know why users find us and convert.
• Curiosity & Judgment: Passion for fintech, AI, and new technology. You try new tools early, know their limits, and verify AI output before it ships—in a regulated financial product, correctness comes before speed.
• Ownership & Initiative: Proactive and hands‑on. You take ownership of features end to end, bring your own ideas, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills. You explain technical work clearly to non‑technical colleagues and build strong relationships across Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German and English.
• Availability: Full‑time availability for minimum 3 months and the ability to travel to the LIQID HQ in Berlin (hybrid working).

Nice to have

• Hands‑on experience with Next.js, Sanity or another headless CMS, and technical SEO (structured data, Core Web Vitals).
• Experience with LLM APIs, agents, or workflow automation.
• Experience with Linear, Figma, product analytics, or A/B testing tools.
• Prior experience in start‑ups, consulting, or financial services.
