We are looking for a Product Analyst to bring a rigorous, data-driven approach to our product team. This role will focus on driving insights that optimize user onboarding, activation, retention, and churn reduction. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and Growth teams to identify friction points, surface opportunities, and inform product development with actionable insights.
Ideally, you'll have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within a SaaS or high-growth tech company.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Metabase, or similar).
- Experience with R or Python, conducting data-driven research and statistical analysis ( linear regression, k-means clustering,)
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or similar).
- Experience with SQL ETL tools to define and materialize KPIs like DBT is a strong plus.
- Experience with experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing).
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working on products with onboarding funnels, retention growth loops, or churn reduction strategies.
- Strategic operator with hands-on executional chops.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Creator economy or SaaS experience is a plus.
- Obsessed with customer outcomes and accelerating company growth.
- Clear and concise communicator, and can effectively develop cohesive data-driven narratives verbally and in written form.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Partner with Product Managers to proactively define and track key success metrics (onboarding, activation, retention, churn).
- Design and conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover user behavior patterns and pain points.
- Build dashboards and reporting to track product performance, adoption, and impact of new features.
- Develop and maintain experiments (A/B tests, feature flagging) to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
- Translate data findings into clear recommendations to influence product roadmap and prioritization.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to improve event tracking, instrumentation, and data quality.
- Define and materialize new KPIs and business metrics.
- Use a data-driven approach to improve activation and retention, and decrease churn.
