Procurement Team Leader – Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

A global leader in industrial technology and smart mobility solutions is looking for a Factory Procurement Leader to oversee supplier strategy, cost optimization, and procurement processes at a key manufacturing site. This role requires a mix of strategic vision, supplier relationship management, and hands-on execution to ensure supply chain excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leading procurement operations at the site level, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring supply chain continuity.
2. Conducting market research & supplier selection for mechanical and electronic components.
3. Driving cost reduction initiatives (PPV/VAVE) while ensuring high-quality supplier performance.
4. Negotiating contracts and closing supplier agreements to support new projects.
5. Supporting global procurement strategies and aligning with regional requirements.
6. Enhancing supplier capacity, managing risks, and optimizing sourcing processes.
7. Leading cross-functional collaboration between procurement, operations, and engineering teams.

What They’re Looking For:

1. Experience in direct material procurement (mechanical/electronics).
2. A strong background in sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.
3. Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electronics) + MBA in Supply Chain & Operations preferred.
4. Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance analysis.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in talent development.
6. Knowledge of ERP systems and lean management tools (VBS, CPSM certification preferred).
