For our client Covestro AG we are currently looking for a Procurement & Project Manager Circular & New Materials (m/f/d) at the Chempark Leverkusen site. The position is to be filled on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1 year with the option of extension and permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines
• Coordinate cross-functional tasks to ensure project objectives are met
• Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply market
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of supplier landscapes, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies
• Create and present market intelligence reports to inform procurement strategies and decision-making processes

• Utilize market intelligence to develop effective sourcing strategies and supply chains, partly for new feedstock streams
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on market insights

• Analyze procurement data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track procurement performance and market dynamics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners
• Present market intelligence findings and recommendations to C&NM Project Lead

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on project management and market intelligence
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and in an international environment
• Experience in the chemical industry or related sectors
