Do you have experience in procurement and possess a keen insight into modern procurement processes? Join us as a Procurement Manager supporting the Senior Procurement Manager at tesa SE. Here, you'll manage suppliers, assigned categories, assist with transformative projects, and contribute to shaping the future landscape of our procurement endeavors while engaging with diverse internal stakeholders. This role will provide you with opportunities to further enhance your procurement skills and experience.

  • You'll assist in conducting frequent, assertive negotiations to ensure a stable material supply and manage material prices.
  • You'll support the formation and finalization of supplier contracts.
  • You'll help synthesize strategies from the company, Business Units, and Procurement, and contribute insights on specific supply market development.
  • You'll manage the assigned category strategy, implementation, and monitoring.
  • You'll aid in transforming strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
  • You'll participate in change management and transformation processes within the team.
  • You'll continuously seek innovative procurement solutions that support business growth.
  • You'll manage relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their unique requirements.
  • You'll collaborate across departments and countries to create and implement effective procurement solutions.
  • You'll conduct regular market research.
  • You'll ensure strict adherence to product development processes and Procurement Guidelines.
  • You've completed a Bachelor’s degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering
  • You've 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in an international, industrial context, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • You're an experienced negotiator, assertive and skilled.
  • You're familiar with modern procurement processes and systems.
  • You've ideally worked with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools.
  • You understand material category management and product development processes.
  • You have experience in cross-functional and international project management.
  • You're proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • You thrive in cross-functional teamwork.
  • You're interculturally adaptable and internationally flexible.
  • You're proactive and open-minded, always seeking procurement solutions that meet customer needs.
  • You're fluent in Business English, and proficiency in German is a plus.
