I am working with an ocean plastic prevention company that is looking to hire a Procurement Manager/Lead for their team in Hamburg. It's a relatively young team focused on recovering plastic and transforming it into circular products.

The responsibilities include:

• Developing procurement strategies that meet impact, logistics, material, and budget requirements.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure fair and equitable terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
