Procurement Lead - Renewables (m/f/d)

DSJ Global are partnered with a prestigious global leader in energy to find a talented Procurement lead (m/f/d). This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of high-value strategic projects in Wind and PV development, managing all aspects of supplier selection, tendering, and claims management across multiple project categories in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all procurement activities for onshore wind energy and open-space PV development projects in Germany.
• Coordinate market analysis, tendering, and award processes for land acquisition, equipment, maintenance, and related services.
• Work closely with various departments to plan procurement strategies and supplier management, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers, develop robust relationships, and manage supplier performance and risk assessments.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of tender documents, manage the tendering process, and ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Lead negotiations, manage contract development, and support contract and claims management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the central point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, facilitating smooth communications and ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in procurement, ideally within the renewable energy, construction, or project development sectors.
• Strong expertise in sourcing, tendering and supplier management.
• Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships, negotiate effectively, and tactical risk and claims management.
• Strong command of both German and English.
• Empathy and intercultural understanding to manage diverse stakeholders and ensure sustainable solutions.
