Zusammenfassung

INEOS Automotive is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to own the Interior & Exterior category end-to-end. You will lead sourcing, supplier negotiations and category strategies across engineering, manufacturing and quality to secure the right parts at the best terms.

The role requires 8–10 years of automotive procurement experience, strong PM and supplier management skills, and willingness to travel. English is mandatory; German is a plus.

• End-to-end procurement knowledge from concept to operation for Interior & Exterior.

Your Role

Own a Procurement Category – Interior & Exterior – end‑to‑end. Lead and develop the procurement strategy, ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time, achieve the best commercial terms, and manage supplier relationships for these categories.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all procurement activities for Interior & Exterior.
• Identify and source components and systems with the best technical and commercial fit.
• Prepare, coordinate and execute sourcing decisions for selected commodities and the full category, aligned across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and procurement.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure balanced commercial terms based on technical feasibility, volume, quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Fulfil project targets regarding material and tooling cost and timeline.
• Observe the global supply market for changes that affect the business.
• Develop and align category strategies in a cross‑functional manner considering global supply market developments and internal requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and countermeasure supply‑chain risks.
• Manage raw‑material fluctuations with suppliers across the category.
• Establish reliable supply chains during serial production.
• Support the Procurement Manager in developing and delivering the transition strategy from project to operation.
• Drive procurement activities during the project phase, cooperating closely with cost engineers.
• Work closely with Engineering, Commercial and Industrialisation teams to agree future demand plans, materials and equipment.
• Network with the wider INEOS organisation to maximise group leverage.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience at a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or OEM.
• Direct knowledge of automotive procurement from concept through industrialisation to operation, focused on Interior & Exterior.
• Significant automotive supply‑chain procurement know‑how from a long career in automobile manufacturing.
• Excellent project‑management skills with a track record of delivery.
• Experience building and maintaining senior supplier relationships.
• Strategic procurement experience and/or NPI (New Product Introduction).
• Strong prioritisation, time‑management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Significant travel required.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with SAP desirable, training will be provided.
• English mandatory; German beneficial.
