A fast-growing European technology and innovation group is hiring a Procurement Lead – Indirect to take ownership of strategic sourcing across business-critical indirect categories, supporting innovation, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across the DACH region.

This position plays a key role in driving procurement excellence, unlocking long-term value, and partnering with stakeholders across corporate, commercial, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across a wide range of indirect spend areas, supporting both operational and corporate functions within the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, and Technology teams to align procurement plans with business priorities.
• Lead competitive tenders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations, ensuring optimal value, compliance, and service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate spend, improve supplier performance, and support procurement-driven transformation initiatives.
• Define supplier KPIs and implement governance frameworks for quality, risk, cost, and service levels across internal functions.
• Support category planning for future growth areas such as digital tools, sustainability programs, and global services.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, procurement policy, and relevant regulations (incl. BGB, GDPR).

Your Profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in indirect procurement, ideally in corporate services, technology, or innovation-driven environments.
• Strong sourcing expertise across professional services, IT, and corporate categories.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in complex organizations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and eProcurement tools; knowledge of contract lifecycle or supplier management platforms is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English (both required).
• Degree in Business, Economics, Procurement, or a related field.
