Position Details

This is a position with grade 10.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Global Procurement Manager Home Solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will support the development and communication of global and regional IM&S Procurement strategies, execute local sourcing activities, lead stakeholder management, and ensure compliance within the DACH Region in the Electrification Business area. The work model is: #LI-hybrid.

1. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs, identify sourcing initiatives, and ensure high-quality, cost-competitive services and solutions. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and the Category Sourcing Team.
2. Support the IM&S Procurement organization in developing, implementing, and executing strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
3. Lead local sourcing activities, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with ABB standards, policies, and procedures.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, drive change management, and collaborate across functions and project teams.
5. Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement tools, leveraging new technologies and streamlining processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in sourcing and category management within indirect procurement.
• Leadership experience, including motivating and guiding procurement teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence.
• Proficiency in English and German.
