Procurement Coordinator

Location: Erlangen

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Procurement Coordinator to support technical projects in the shipbuilding/naval sector. This role involves managing procurement processes, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and compliant delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement activities including supplier selection, onboarding, and order preparation.
• Manage material creation and updates in SAP, maintaining accurate parts and product lists.
• Request and process quotations, including export data collection and spare parts ordering via internal systems.
• Track orders and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with project managers and suppliers.
• Oversee on-site material logistics, ensuring quality checks, completeness, and compliance with customer specifications.

Requirements:

• 3 years proven experience in procurement or logistics.
• Strong proficiency in German and English (B1/B2 level).
• Advanced SAP R/3 skills and solid experience with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proven experience in operational procurement and logistics with a strong focus on quality and compliance.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep understanding of procurement processes and technical requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP MM and (HANA).
• Strong initiative, analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
