The Green Recruitment Company is supporting a high-growth European renewable energy business in Berlin with a senior Procurement & Contract Manager role, centred on onshore wind projects and a growing energy transition portfolio.

You will lead procurement strategy, negotiate with major suppliers, build strategic partnerships and collaborate with technical, development, construction, finance and legal teams to drive value and manage risk.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in procurement and contract management.

• Experience across wind, energy infra projects is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full procurement process from supplier identification through to contract award and execution.
• Lead hands-on commercial and contractual negotiations with major suppliers, contractors and industry partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key market participants.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, warranties, liabilities, performance guarantees and other key contractual provisions.
• Work closely with technical, project development, construction, finance and legal teams.
• Provide market intelligence and procurement insight to support project and investment decisions.
• Contribute to the development of the company's procurement and contract management function as the business continues to grow.

We are working with a high-growth European renewable energy business with an ambitious portfolio of onshore wind projects and plans for significant continued expansion across the energy transition.

As the business continues to scale, we are looking for a Procurement & Contract Manager to take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier relationships and complex commercial negotiations across the business.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who brings both strong contract negotiation expertise and an established network within the renewable energy market.

The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their existing industry relationships, identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships, and lead negotiations with major industry players.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process from supplier identification through to contract award and execution.
• Lead hands-on commercial and contractual negotiations with major suppliers, contractors and industry partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and key market participants.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, warranties, liabilities, performance guarantees and other key contractual provisions.
• Work closely with technical, project development, construction, finance and legal teams.
• Provide market intelligence and procurement insight to support project and investment decisions.
• Contribute to the development of the company's procurement and contract management function as the business continues to grow.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial management and/or contract management.
• Demonstrable experience leading hands-on contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of the renewable energy market, ideally with experience in onshore wind.
• An established network of suppliers, contractors, OEMs or other major industry partners.
• Existing relationships across the renewable energy supply chain.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess and manage contractual risk.
• Confidence negotiating directly with senior stakeholders and major industry partners.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Experience across wind, BESS, solar, hybrid projects or wider energy infrastructure would also be highly relevant.
