Tasks and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Procurement & Sales Officer to manage the entire lifecycle of Spaceopal's procurement and sales activities, including contract modifications. Working closely with technical experts, you will coordinate, prepare, and negotiate proposals for our customers and manage procurement activities within our industrial team. The role requires technical understanding, vigilant monitoring, reporting, supervision, and a focus on managerial, financial, and contractual aspects. You will report directly to the Spaceopal Sales and Procurement Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process for tenders and change requests, including evaluation and negotiation of proposals and contracts.
- Prepare tender documentation and requirement documentation with input from technical, legal, and financial professionals.
- Support proposal evaluation and participate in negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Organize proposals and prepare comprehensive documentation in collaboration with experts from various departments.
- Monitor and control the status of inputs related to proposal activities, ensuring effective follow-up.
- Prepare official communications regarding procurement procedures and contract execution.
- Interface with customers and contract managers to maintain relationships.
- Update and maintain databases and logs related to procurement and sales.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement and sales processes.
- Report status and issues to management regularly.
- Coordinate with technical, legal, and finance teams for seamless information flow.
- Participate in management meetings to contribute expertise.
- Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with industrial partners and customer representatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in international environments, ideally in space, defense, or high-security sectors.
- Experience in large public or industry technical programs at the system level.
Additional Requirements:
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Italian and/or German language skills are a plus.
- Strong teamwork attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, even under pressure.
- Hands-on, systematic, and self-organized with the ability to prioritize.
- Proficiency in MS Office and standard office tools.
Work Location:
Spaceopal headquarters in Munich, Germany. Periodic travel to Oberpfaffenhofen (GCC-D) and Fucino (GCC-I) may be required, including participation in meetings at these and other project locations across Europe.
