Job summary

Empira Group is looking for a Process & Transformation Manager Finance to drive the digital transformation of our finance department in Munich. You will analyze finance-related processes, make them transparent, and redesign workflows with IT and service providers.

You will play a key role in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, from design to training, and help develop workflow and document management solutions, including exploring AI tools where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Informatics or comparable qualification.
• 2–3 years experience in accounting, management accounting, process consultancy or SSC; understands monthly closing.
• Thoroughly understanding a process before changing it; willingness to rethink when needed.
• Experience with workflow, DMS or ERP systems; BI solutions or process modelling is a plus.

• You will help shape the digital transformation of our finance department from the outset and work closely with Accounting, Controlling and IT
• You will analyse processes that affect the finance department, including those that originate in other departments, and make them transparent
• You will identify areas for improvement and redesign processes before they are digitised
• You will take a holistic view of workflows – from responsibilities to data flows – and, together with IT and service providers, develop the appropriate solution
• You will play a key role in the technical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, from process design and testing through to training the teams
• You further develop existing workflow and document management solutions, test new tools – including AI – and, where appropriate, build solutions yourself
• You consider clean master data right from the start and, together with the relevant departments, draw up proposals on how data is maintained and managed

Your profile

• A degree in Economics, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience (approx. 2 to 3 years) in accounting, management accounting, process consultancy or a shared service centre; you understand the inner workings of a monthly closing process
• You seek to understand a process thoroughly before changing it, and have the courage to fundamentally rethink it where appropriate
• Experience in improving or automating processes, ideally with an eye for responsibilities and data quality
• Experience with workflow, DMS or ERP systems, business intelligence solutions or process modelling (e.g. BPMN) is a plus, but not essential
• You can explain complex topics in simple terms, are keen to drive change rather than simply manage things, and are keen to develop your skills alongside us
• Fluent German (C2) and a good command of English
