Zusammenfassung

Empira Group invites a Systems Manager Finance D365 F&O to lead the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O as the central accounting system across our companies. You will bridge accounting, IT, and implementation partners, shaping configuration, testing and go-live while ensuring data migration quality.

You will own the D365 F&O system post go-live, manage releases, and gradually support additional systems within the finance landscape.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Informatics, Economics or IT-focused apprenticeship.
• 2–3 years ERP or accounting systems experience (e.g., in-house consultant or key user).
• Experience with D365 F&O is a definite advantage; other ERP/accounting systems welcome.

• You will be involved from the very first day of the project as we roll out Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O as the central accounting system for our companies
• You will bring together accounting, IT and implementation partners, help shape the configuration, testing and go-live phases, and critically assess which approach is best
• You will be responsible for data migration from several legacy systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
• Following the go-live, you will be the system owner for D365, managing releases and updates, and gradually taking on responsibility for supporting other systems within our financial system landscape
• You will be responsible for the interfaces between D365 F&O and connected peripheral systems, particularly for consolidation, workflow and document management
• You will be the first point of contact for D365 within the finance department, train our key users and ensure that roles, authorisations and documentation are audit-compliant
• You will work closely with Accounting, Controlling, IT and the upstream business departments, and help shape the finance department’s system landscape

Your profile

• A degree in Business Informatics, Economics or a commercial apprenticeship with a focus on IT
• Initial professional experience (approx. 2 to 3 years) with ERP or accounting systems, e.g. as an in-house consultant, key user or systems accountant, ideally with experience of a system implementation
• Experience with D365 F&O is a definite advantage; if you have experience with other ERP or accounting systems and would like to switch to D365 F&O, this is also welcome
• You understand how accounting works, from the general ledger and accounts payable to multi-client structures
• You are fascinated by data structures and interfaces; a basic knowledge of SQL or experience with low-code and automation solutions is a plus
• You explain technical matters in a way that non-IT staff can understand, and are happy to take responsibility for a system
• Fluent German (C2) and a good command of English
