Job description
Tasks
- Carrying out level 2 NDT tests (PT/MT) on metallic components in accordance with the valid test specifications
- Operation of systems for crack detection using magnetic particle and dye penetrant methods
- Creation, Management and documentation of test records in the field of non-destructive material testing
- Implementation of measures for quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Recording of performance and order data and execution of order confirmation in SAP
- Support in the analysis of internal and external quality problems to determine causes
- Creation and processing of quality reports and documentation of construction deviations
- Participation in simple problem solving as part of the production planning and control process
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or comparable technical training, at least at master level
- Additional qualification in non-destructive testing (NDT) level 2 according to EN4179 (aviation)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, especially in plastics and rubber technology, as well as in quality assurance
- Sound expertise in the manufacture of composite components
- In-depth user knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent in German (min. C1) and advanced English skills (min. B2)
- An existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
