Your Responsibilities

1. Ensure accuracy in our financial data through meticulous main and sub-ledger reconciliations, process oversight, and tailored solutions.
2. Identify and implement improvements for manual and system processes, balancing effort and benefits, and outlining concrete steps for enhancement.
3. Participate in system requirements implementation (e.g., SAP) for accounting and reporting, develop well-thought-out concepts, and ensure smooth execution.
4. Define and implement control measures for compliance standards such as SOX and Minimum Standards, document processes thoroughly, and advise management with sound recommendations.

Your Profile

1. Ideally, a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Controlling or a commercial qualification with additional certifications (e.g., Certified Accountant).
2. Several years of professional experience in accounting, reporting, or controlling, preferably within a banking environment.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of banking accounting standards (HGB, RechKredV, IFRS) and familiarity with banking-specific accounting software (SAP Bank Analyzer, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
4. Strong IT affinity, practical experience in project work, and process/requirements analysis.
5. Ability to think beyond your own scope and develop sustainable solutions.
6. Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
