Job Description

Amazon is seeking Site Process Engineers to work in the EU Process Engineering (EU PE) team. The Site Process Engineer is an onsite position.

The EU PE team is a group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfilment Network. This team aims to establish best-in-class process performance, accelerate technological advancements, and strengthen technical expertise across the network.

The role involves working closely with FC leadership, deploying initiatives, building networks within the FC, and driving compliance and continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities include overseeing improvement programs, analyzing process performance, collaborating with regional teams, and supporting EU-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in the FC, starting with the bottom 50% processes, and implement action plans.
  • Manage the FC improvement program, analyze data, and convert insights into tangible improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with central PE functions and regional Site PEs, benchmarking to reduce variation.
  • Drive the implementation of network best practices and capture innovations for scaling.
  • Ensure deployment and compliance of EU network initiatives within the FC.
  • Partner with FC Ops, participate in daily Gemba walks, organize weekly leadership meetings, and build strong relationships with site leadership.
  • Support or lead EU projects, coordinate across multiple FCs, and be prepared to support site operations as needed.
  • Travel within the region is expected, approximately 0-10%.
Basic Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English and German (C1 level)
  • Experience in Operations management or similar roles
  • Technical knowledge of at least one Fulfillment process path (e.g., Quriosity certification)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies
  • Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
