European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP, aiming to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in Dresden, Germany. We are committed to strengthening the European semiconductor ecosystem.

Position: Process Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated process engineering talents to join our competitive technology fab in Dresden. As a Process Engineer, you will focus on delivering robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing processes using data-driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute experiments; interpret complex data to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve atomic-level precision control.
  2. Apply statistical process control methods to establish and sustain robust manufacturing processes.
  3. Qualify and sustain manufacturing processes to expand capacity with speed and quality.
  4. Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to identify gaps and devise improvement solutions.
  5. Drive continuous improvements in process stability, quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety.
  6. Work scheduled evening shifts, weekends, and be on-call in a 24/7 high-volume environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, or Ph.D. in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields.
  • Academic skills in numerical analysis, statistics, optics, chemistry, or physics.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work in a clean room environment.
  • Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English; basic German; Mandarin is a plus.

Training & Location: Training in Taiwan for at least 6 months; based in Dresden, Germany.
