Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and definition of manufacturing processes for technical plastic/elastomer composite products (multi-component injection molding)

  • Creation of concepts for tool and automation solutions

  • Support in determining calculation-relevant process parameters during the offer phase

  • Preparation of documentation within the framework of the APQP process

  • Accompanying the sampling and approval of the manufacturing process (internal and external)

  • Analysis, documentation, initiation, and implementation of optimizations and problem solutions as well as corrective measures in the ongoing series

  • Creation of specifications and procurement or commissioning of injection molding machines and associated tools or automations

  • Technical support for all interfaces within the framework of the multi-component injection molding manufacturing process

Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed studies in the field of plastics/process engineering or similar, or comparable training/professional experience as a process mechanic for plastics technology with corresponding further training

  • Several years of profound professional experience in the field of process/plant engineering of a plastics processing company with injection molding technology

  • Ideally, extensive knowledge of special injection molding processes (2K, 3K, assembly molding, GIT, WIT, MuCell)

  • Analytical approach as well as a goal-oriented and systematic way of working

  • Ideally, experience in the automotive or supplier industry regarding the usual requirements, processes, and procedures

  • Creativity, technical understanding, and teamwork skills

  • Sociability, commitment, reliability

  • Proficient English skills, both written and spoken
