The European Amazon Logistics team is seeking an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Process Engineer to drive standardization, integrate the latest technologies in our Delivery Stations, and propose new innovation initiatives.
As a member of the EU Amazon Logistics Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing new Delivery Stations, supporting process optimization, and integrating new technologies into legacy sites, improving safety, customer experience, quality, and cost. You will act as a key contact for your area of responsibility in your supported country, partnering with local Operations teams and other support functions.
This role requires deep customer focus, strong self-motivation, and exceptional project management skills. It involves regular communication with customers and project sponsors at both European and country levels, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable partnering across business and technical teams. Success in this role combines analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong design and innovation operations intuition.
This position involves frequent domestic travel and reports to the Manager of the Design Engineering team in your supported country.
You will lead end-to-end design for new delivery stations and improve existing processes. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including operations, design, construction, launch, expansion, and safety teams.
You will produce top-tier layouts for new launches, optimize existing stations, and present to leadership for approval. You will work on automation programs to integrate new technologies into legacy stations, leading projects to develop mechanisms for improvement and innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Our team partners with AMZL Operations and support functions to design and develop process infrastructure and layouts, delivering them as EU AMZL network standards.
