Qualifikationen

  • Mindestens 1 Jahr Erfahrung als zertifizierter MA, EMT oder Paramedic.
  • Aktive CPR-Lizenz erforderlich innerhalb von 7 Tagen nach Einstellung.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Perform all responsibilities of the Patient Care Specialist as outlined in the specific job description.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all employees, building confidence and credibility.
  • Provide clinical and administrative support, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow the company's core values: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Ensure activities comply with department expectations and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Triaging patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, administering injections, etc.
  • Observe and chart patient conditions, report changes, and take necessary actions.
  • Assist with lab testing, phlebotomy, and minor procedures.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Support patients utilizing Virtual Medicine Providers.
  • Complete and forward patient charts accurately and promptly.
  • Arrange referrals and obtain pre-authorizations as directed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and staff, promoting a respectful work environment.
  • Perform federal and non-federal DOT, BAT, and drug screening exams.
  • Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified.
  • Comply with operational standards and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold compliance training requirements.
  • Keep the office clean and organized to support a professional environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Secondary:

  • Assist with clerical tasks like patient check-in, demographic, insurance, and financial data collection.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and communicate payment and billing policies.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and return calls professionally.

Supporting Telehealth:

  • Prepare patient charts for virtual consultations.
  • Assist with follow-ups, including pharmacy requests, paperwork, scheduling, and clinical calls.

Additional Requirements:

Level 1: High School Diploma or equivalent, current CPR license, and at least 1 year of experience as a certified MA, EMT, or Paramedic in a clinical setting, preferably urgent care.

Level 2-4: Certified MA, EMT, or Paramedic with a current CPR license and relevant experience ranging from 4 to 8 years, including specific Fast Pace experience requirements.

Additional responsibilities include administrative duties like scheduling, ordering, and training, as assigned by the Clinic or Regional Director. The CPR license must be active within 7 days of hire.

Experience and Education Requirements

Minimum one year of relevant experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and an active license or certification as specified.
