Overview:
We are exclusively partnering with a Munich-based private capital investment firm that is expanding its platform with a specific emphasis on the Industrials sector. With over €1 billion in assets under management and a robust portfolio across various industrial verticals, they are actively seeking an Associate to join their team and support investment activity within the Industrials space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of investments in industrial manufacturing, engineered products, specialty chemicals, automation, and related verticals.
- Conduct in-depth market and company analysis, focusing on industrial subsectors across Europe.
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support deal assessment and structuring.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for internal committees and co-investors.
- Participate in commercial, operational, and financial due diligence alongside internal and external experts.
- Work with portfolio companies post-investment to support strategic and operational initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, or strategy consulting—preferably with exposure to the Industrials sector.
- Strong understanding of industrial business models and drivers of value in areas like manufacturing, supply chains, engineering, or chemicals.
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
- Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a lean, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial environment.
- A strong academic background in finance, engineering, economics, or related fields.
