About the Firm:

We are partnering with a leading mid to large cap private equity fund with a primary location in close to Mannheim, focused on a buy & build strategy for technology businesses across the DACH region.

Position Overview:

This opportunity would be ideal for Associates coming from boutique or middle market investment banks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market analyses to identify attractive investment opportunities across sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry experts to support deal origination
• Support deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, industry research, and transaction structuring
• Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to the investment committee
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams on value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic growth projects
• Monitor ongoing portfolio performance, including financial and operational KPIs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1-3+ years of Investment Banking experience (technology highly desirable)
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Experience with data cubes
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively in small, lean deal teams
• Passion for private equity investing and value creation
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (top-tier university preferred) & relevant internships
