Mission

The Principal Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor, partnering with customers and Siemens business stakeholders to design and implement Industrial IoT (IIoT) and product integration services that align with strategic goals. This role provides expert guidance to ensure tailored technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes, bridging business objectives and technological innovation to enhance operational efficiency and foster long-term partnerships.

As a direct link from Advanta to Siemens Xcelerator's product strategy and portfolio, you will align architecture requirements to integrate Siemens products and enable the X Partner Ecosystem.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Strategic Planning and Alignment
2. Guide alignment efforts across multiple products to develop a feasible integration architecture blueprint.
3. Develop and sustain a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with customer objectives, ensuring solutions that deliver mutual benefits.
4. Create and implement IIoT and product integration strategies supporting Siemens’ vision and customer success.
5. Collaborate with management and customers to prioritize technology initiatives that achieve business outcomes.

1. Architecture Design and Implementation
2. Design and oversee scalable, secure, and efficient IIoT architectures tailored to customer needs.
3. Ensure seamless integration of IIoT solutions with existing Siemens products, focusing on measurable outcomes.
4. Maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and guidelines adaptable to various environments.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication
2. Represent Siemens architecture initiatives globally and align with CTO-level strategies.
3. Mentor and guide the worldwide ADV solution architect community, providing technical leadership.
4. Work with Siemens Vertical Markets and X Partners to understand use cases and include their solutions.
5. Act as a liaison between stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to ensure clarity of requirements.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience
• Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in IT architecture, focusing on IIoT and product integration.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and complex IT solution implementation.

• Deep knowledge of IIoT technologies, platforms, and frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure architectures.
• Strong understanding of security standards for IIoT.

• Certifications
