Everest Systems' engineering team is leading the transformation of business applications in the world of AI with a new ERP system reinvented for the needs of modern businesses. We are building an enterprise-grade ERP that includes core end-to-end processes such as quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, cloud & AI cost management, and standard HR processes. Our technology is cloud-native and AI-driven from the ground up. We support the creation of AI agents on all pages, including automated data access. The subscription-based business model is natively supported and fully automated.

We are currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer who can define and implement our vision of the next-generation ERP system, redesigned for the AI era. This role is crucial in enabling large-scale application software for business users and data enthusiasts across all organizations.

Tasks

• Build end-to-end products and features working across different codebases and front-ends.
• Apply cutting-edge AI/LLM technologies to invent and deliver features that delight our customers.
• Deliver and iterate quickly on new product opportunities, driven by usage and engagement.
• Operate as part of a fast-paced team on ambitious new projects.
• Be an active member of a motivated and collaborative engineering team.
• Design, implement, debug, and deliver experiences in TypeScript, Python, Rust, and other languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, TypeScript, JavaScript (React), Java, or Python, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience working on modern generative AI-based products/tools in production.
• 3+ years of full-stack product engineering, building customer-facing products across both platform/foundations and front-end/user-experience.
• Ideally, working knowledge of business processes and ERP-type applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English and ideally German, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable and meticulous approach to work, with a high degree of quality awareness and business acumen.
