Job Description:

To further strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) at our Düsseldorf location, we are looking for a pro-active and results-oriented Principal Product Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) to drive the growth of our next Generation Automotive MCU Products. We are open to candidates with at least 5-10 years of experience in relevant roles.

Your Role:

• Support of Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
• Collection, definition, and close follow-up on global customer requirements
• Coordination of projects with dedicated major automotive customers
• Lead collaboration with internal technical marketing and design teams to define and follow up on the roadmap for Renesas microcontroller products
• Support internal support teams for Renesas products
• Assist sales teams in customer promotion strategies and execution
• Coordinate and exchange information with Renesas Japan
• Report performance indicators (KPIs) to upper management
• Develop and implement market introduction plans (e.g., lead customers, lead market segments/applications) worldwide
• Ensure the availability of complete product packages (documentation, starter kits, flyers, software) for market introduction, including training sales forces
• Create marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, webinars, etc.

Qualifications:

Your profile:

• Graduate in electronic engineering
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant product marketing experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience in the automotive market, understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
• Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and ecosystems
• Proven track record in product definition and requirements management
• Understanding of marketing concepts like Go-To-Market plans and customer expectations
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, capable of working in a multicultural and agile environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German skills are preferable
• Proficiency with software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS Office)
• Ideally experienced in automotive system design, E/E architecture, AI, customer negotiations, complex RfQ handling, MCU architecture, networking, functional safety/security, embedded software
