Jobbeschreibung

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations, from foundational services such as Amazon S3 and EC2 to new features that set AWS apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services, including support for customers requiring specialized security solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the world-class service team at Amazon Web Services! Work with top engineers and product managers while developing your skills within an innovative tech company.

Amazon Aurora and RDS Open Source seek a Customer Success Product Manager with a balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The role involves working with large, advanced customers of Aurora, with a strong background in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or similar relational databases, and experience in technical consulting or customer management.

Amazon Aurora is a MySQL and PostgreSQL-compatible relational database engine that combines high performance with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases. It automates tasks like provisioning, monitoring, backups, and upgrades, allowing customers to focus on data and insights rather than infrastructure management.

Key job responsibilities

  • Prioritize operational issues, guide escalations, engage with senior product leadership, and communicate with customers and internal partners.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, customer obsession, and deep experience with relational database technologies, networking, and distributed architectures.
