As Principal Product Manager - Elasticity based Pricing, you will collaborate with engineering, operations research, and machine learning teams to develop sophisticated products that influence our pricing decisions. In an agile environment, you will gather stakeholder needs, develop solutions, drive delivery, and prioritize development efforts. You will be the key interface between Business, Engineering, and Data Science, impacting millions of Zalando shoppers and directly influencing our bottom line.

What we'd love you to do (and love doing)

• Create cutting-edge optimization products that recommend prices for over 300k items across 24+ countries
• Develop and execute a long-term vision, identify and prioritize problems and solutions, and build data-driven business cases
• Translate complex mathematical and economic topics into understandable messages and communicate effectively across all levels
• Lead delivery with engineering, operations research, and data science teams in an agile process

We'd love to meet you if

• You have product management experience at a lead/principal level, owning a long-term vision and roadmap, and use data-driven approaches to solve problems
• You possess excellent communication skills to articulate business problems and priorities clearly
• You have a strong understanding of econometrics, math, and statistics, with skills in Python and SQL
• You have experience in operations research, data science, or machine learning
• You hold a Master's or PhD in economics or a related scientific field (preferred)
