Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Nuclear Waste Consultant specialising in Spent Fuel & Waste Management. The role focuses on leading technical projects, developing client relationships and securing new business within UK civil/defence nuclear sectors.
The position is based in Warrington with hybrid working patterns and monthly site travel. A Bachelor Honours Degree in Science/Engineering and SC clearance are required.

Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to customer and Cavendish Nuclear sites will be expected, typically around once per month. Essential experience of the Principal Nuclear Waste Consultant Specialising in Spent Fuel & Waste Management: Extensive experience delivering and leading technical projects within spent fuels management, nuclear materials management or closely related nuclear disciplines. Strong experience working with United Kingdom civil or defence nuclear industry clients. Proven success operating within a consultancy or client-facing environment. Including developing scopes of work, preparing proposals, bidding and tendering activities. Demonstrable experience developing client relationships and securing new business opportunities. Experience leading technical teams, supporting project delivery and mentoring developing professionals. Qualifications for the Principal Nuclear Waste Consultant Specialising in Spent Fuel & Waste Management: Bachelor Honours Degree, or equivalent, in a Science or Engineering discipline. Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
