Zusammenfassung

Balfour Beatty’s Major Projects division is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead assurance and governance across the AGS delivery scope, ensuring design conformity and HS2 requirements.

You will provide technical leadership for station packages, manage risks and coordinate design and construction teams, with a mix of office and site/home working in London.

Qualifikationen

  • A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or demonstrated progression toward chartership.
  • CSCS card and SMSTS certification are required.
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical leadership for conventional station packages including structural steelwork, roofing, facades, glazing, doors, rail interfaces and temporary works.
  • Manage engineering risks, assumptions, constraints and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate engineering activities between design consultants, construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Lead technical resolution of site issues, RFIs, NCRs and design change proposals.
Who we're looking for
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or demonstrable progression towards chartership.
  • CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS.
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK.
