Job Overview

We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to help support our DevOps team. You will be responsible to support a team of talented DevOps engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure. You will bring your knowledge to help the team grow, overcome challenges, guiding them into the best practices and providing access to valuable resources to build upon.

Your Tasks

• Lead technical discussions with our stakeholders (developers as well as the business teams).
• Design and ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure.
• Promote practices like CI/CD and infrastructure as a code.
• Mentor members of the team.
• Drive the automation and standardization of our processes.

Your Profile

• An open mind and creative approach to problem solving with open source-based solutions.
• You enjoy guiding and enabling people.
• 5+ years of experience working in a DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Experience working with open-source infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis of systems and applications (e.g., Zabbix, InfluxDB, Grafana, ...) as well as of automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Rundeck, ...)
• Hands-on experience in non-cloud technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge in Linux, Python, and Kubernetes.
• Fluent in English; German Language is a plus.
