BBIS has an opening for a Primary School German Teacher (f/m/d)
Part-Time: 15/30 teaching hours per week (20 working hours)
Start date: 1st August 2025
Limited initially until 31st July 2027

YOUR QUALIFICATION

• Primary Teaching certification with experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
• Primary German Teaching certification with experience in IB PYP, energetic and internationally-minded
• Team player, resilient, positive & has a growth mindset. Willing to learn and take risks
• Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues alike
• High level of initiative, willing to work in an ambitious and dynamic school. Effective practice to utilize technology within teaching and learning
• Commitment to academic excellence, matched by a belief in educating the whole person

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES

• German Teacher in Primary School, grade 1 to 5
• Teach German (Language and Literature and German Language Acquisition) through the PYP framework
• Support concept-based inquiry in German teaching and learning
• Work in an inclusive environment with a diverse cohort of students
• Differentiate to accommodate individual needs
• Plan, assess and report against clear learning outcomes
• Collaborate with others and embrace opportunities for team teaching
• Have strong beliefs that all students can access and succeed in German Language and that the cornerstone of student confidence is the acquisition of foundational content, skills, and understandings
• Have a keen interest in promoting student well-being through teaching and learning in the German classroom and beyond
