Primary Insurance Global Claims Expert (m/f/d)* - French speaking

Would you like to be part of our diverse Global Claims community with a passion for delivering excellent service to our clients and shaping the future of Claims within Munich Re?

Munich Re’s MGA/TPA Claims team manages and monitors the primary insurance claims portfolio. Your role will include managing individual claims, analyzing claims portfolios, conducting audits, and collaborating with Underwriting to develop new business and improve portfolio performance. As a Claims expert, you will also support the digital transformation of claims management and new business initiatives to help achieve MR Claims' Ambition 2025+.

Your Job

• Provide proactive monitoring and support to MGA/TPA on all claims-related matters, including claims audits and due diligence in collaboration with Munich Re's international units.
• Manage claims within your responsibility area, using KPIs to evaluate performance, estimate exposures, and identify key loss drivers.
• Offer expert guidance to client management and underwriting teams, providing feedback on claims trends, product development, and strategies, and advising on policy wording and claims handling best practices.
• Lead projects by managing workshops, facilitating meetings, and developing efficient claim processes such as first notice of loss, policy administration, fast track claims, estimates, subrogation, and litigation management.

Your Profile

• University degree and extensive professional experience in the European non-life insurance market, especially in Motor, Property, and Casualty insurance.
• Deep knowledge and proven success in managing complex primary insurance claims.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to present findings clearly in various formats.
• Experience with digital claim services that enhance processes.
• Ability to work systematically and independently, with ownership and motivation for project execution.
• Results-oriented, solution-focused, with excellent presentation, conflict management, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English; German skills are an advantage.
