Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough and current knowledge in the subject area(s) taught.
• Keep an overview of curriculum developments.
• Engage fully with professional learning opportunities, including INSET, working groups, and professional learning communities, even outside core school hours.
• Collaborate and support the professional development of colleagues.
• Use evidence and research to improve teaching and learning.
• Reflect on personal practice and pursue continuous improvement.
• Participate in structures supporting professional learning, including appraisal and observation.

Teaching and Learning Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 80% of the timetable, with 20% allocated to preparation.
